Pastor John Geisel
Pastor John Geisel finished his undergraduate degree at Liberty University in 1976. There he majored in pastoral ministries and had his minor concentration in Greek and Theology. In the same year he was ordained into the gospel ministry at Thomas Road Baptist Church. He completed his Masters degree in Christian Education and Family Life Ministries at Dallas Theological Seminary in 2000.
He is the founding pastor of Generations Church which was meeting in Hudsonville, and is now meeting in Zeeland. He is a devoted husband, father and grandfather. His gifts are demonstrated in his preaching, teaching and compassionate pastoral ministry. In his spare time, Pastor John enjoys traveling, motorcycles, horses, boating, table tennis, and billiards.
Rex is from Jenison, MI. He married his wife, Lou Ann, in 1973 and they have lived in the Jenison/Hudsonville area all their married life. They have two adult children and three grandchildren, with one grandchild due in January of 2018. Rex serves on the elder team and helps his wife with the coffee ministry at Generations. Rex retired from retail furniture in August of 2016.
Bill Baker is from Xenia, OH originally and his wife Megan grew up in Rock Island, IL. They met in Iowa/Illinois, married and moved to Zeeland in 1986. They moved to Hudsonville in 2001 where they now live. In the process, they raised four children: three of whom live in the immediate area and one which lives in Northern Indiana. Bill is on the elder team and helps with audio editing. Megan does Generations' bookkeeping work. They have a small business in the Zeeland area which markets electronics to government agencies.
